Sixty COVID-19 cases reported Aug. 25-31

OTHELLO — Adams County Health Department reported 60 new cases of the coronavirus from Aug. 25 to 31.

Of the new cases reported, 56 were in Othello and four in Ritzville. As of Aug. 31, five county residents with coronavirus had died and one had died of related complications. There were no additional deaths reported Aug. 25 to 31.

As of Aug. 31, Othello had 602 coronavirus cases, Ritzville had 28 and Hatton had four cases. Three cases have been reported in Lind, one case in Washtucna and one case in Benge.

As of Aug. 31, 3,535 people in the county had been tested.
