The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and the Show 'n Shine Committee are excited to see everyone at the revamped 2020 Show 'n Shine on Sept. 12.

Although the popular Evergreen Show ’N Shine is moving online this year due to COVID-19, the event promises virtual spectators a view of gleaming chrome and glistening exteriors.

The show is open to all classes of cars, motorcycles and off-road vehicles. People who want to participate in the drive-thru car show and cruise may register by calling the Evergreen Chamber at 406-885-1212. People may also register at the event.

Filling out the roster of what is expected to be more than 200 vehicles based on past years, are Kruise Kalispell and Glacier Street Rod Association members, who are partnering with Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the show.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. people are invited to join a Facebook livestream to view the show, chat with fellow car enthusiasts, answer trivia questions for a chance to win prizes and vote on a people’s choice award.

A 50/50 raffle will also be held. The livestream will be held on the Evergreen Chamber and Daily Inter Lake Facebook pages at www.facebook.com/evergreenmtcofc and www.facebook.com/Dailyinterlake.

People registered to participate in the car show and cruise will meet at Conlin’s Furniture, 1441 Montana 35. A lane for drivers to showcase vehicles will be set up in a similar way to a NASCAR pit road. Vehicles will stop between two booths, sponsored by NAPA, where judges will vote on different categories and winners will be awarded trophies. Categories include: best of show, best off-road, best pickup, best sports car, best rat rod, best muscle car, best street rod, people’s choice, Ford award, GM award and Mopar award.

Three new categories have been added, including hometown proud, team spirit and most political.

“The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and the Show ’N Shine Committee are excited to see everyone at the revamped 2020 Show ’N Shine,” Evergreen Chamber Executive Director Connie McCubbins said.
