Community Health Center honored by agency

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Community Health Center recently announced it was recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, winning three gold-tier quality awards.

According to a press release, MLCHC was recognized in three areas.

First was the Health Center Quality Leader award to health centers that improved quality of care from 2018 to 2019, achieving the best overall clinical performance.

Second was the Advancing Health Information Technology award to health centers that optimized HIT services for advancing telehealth, patient engagement, interoperability and collection of social determinants of health to increase access to care and advance quality of care from 2018 to 2019.

And third, MLCHC received the Patient Centered Medical Home award for health centers with patient-centered medical home recognition in one or more delivery sites.
