Brown, a junior from Coeur d’Alene High, was named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete as well as member of a NAIA Scholar Team, the school announced on Tuesday. The award recognizes excellence in the classroom for those athletes who are juniors or seniors with an academic standing of 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average. For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Brown was honored for the women’s cross country and track and field team.

Weishaar, a senior from Timberlake High, was named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete as well as member of an NAIA Scholar Team, the school announced. Weishaar was honored for the women’s cross country and track and field team.
