Libby High School Golf teed off the Cabinet View Invitational, their only home tournament, on Sept. 11.

The matchup, which drew seven schools from the area, was held at the Cabinet View Golf Course. The Libby boys team took fifth place while the girls team went unranked.

Mason Gotham led the boys squad, carding 86. The score placed him third overall.

McKenna McNulty took sixth place in the girl’s division with a score of 99.

On the boys team, Gotham was trailed by Landon Haddock, Reece Malyevac, Thomas Roark and Dylan Buckner who shot 104, 105, 115 and 120 respectively.

“I can’t ask for any more effort from them and it will be worth it if they keep up the super effort,” coach Dann Rohrer said of the boys.

Gabby Fantozzi, who is new this year to the Libby squad, shot a 120.

“Super job Gabby, all the hard work is paying off,” Rohrer said.
