Kids were allegedly running around people’s yards stealing political campaign signs.

A man called Kalispell Police Department to report political signs were stolen from his yard, not once, but twice. Signs he reported stolen earlier in the week had purportedly reappeared at his door, so he put them back up and they were stolen again.

Another call came in from a man alleging he had multiple signs for Democratic candidates stolen.

An employee reportedly told officers that several customers saw a man hit a woman in a maroon SUV in a parking lot. The vehicle left southbound on Meridian Road.

Four women and one man were allegedly screaming, yelling and hitting each other in a parking lot. It was said that the women were confronting a man and then another woman.

Someone claiming to be with Kalispell Public Schools requested extra patrol during school hours after a “run-in with a transient” where students were present. They were afraid he might return.

A caller on Hutton Ranch Road allegedly told police someone attempted to burglarize a vehicle.

A man claimed he was shot in the leg and asked for help. The report turned out to be unfounded. Dispatchers noted a similar report was made last week.

A dark red vehicle allegedly swerved into a man’s lane intentionally and waited until the last second to move.

A front desk employee was reportedly told to call police by a woman who said her boyfriend was getting angry and too aggressive.
