Lady Broncs outpace Lady Loggers

The Frenchtown Lady Broncs bucked the Lady Loggers over four games on Sept. 26.

The Libby squad won game two 28-26 but fell in games one, three and four with scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-18.

Senior middle hitter Jessica Cunningham racked up three aces for the Lady Loggers. Junior outside hitter Julia Martineau and senior defensive specialist Aren James followed with two aces each.

Libby totaled 31 kills throughout the match. Junior right side hitter Ember Rhode scored 15 while senior middle hitter Olivia Gilliam-Smith took six.

Setter Laneigha Zeiler made 26 of the Lady Loggers’ 29 total assists.

Gilliam-Smith and Cunningham landed all of Libby’s blocks with four and five respectively.

The Lady Loggers totaled 34 digs during the Frenchtown match. James and Martineau led with 10 and seven digs each.
