POLSON — Spring again got in the way of the Whitefish tennis team’s plans, cancelling several matches Saturday in Polson.

Whitefish’s season opener against Columbia Falls on Thursday was cancelled because of a wintry mix, the same weather that postponed Whitefish’s matches against Polson. The Bulldogs were able to get a few games in against Dillon, and won 4-1.

All but the No. 4 single and one doubles match were completed.

Saturday’s meeting with Polson is rescheduled for Tues., Apr. 20 at 11 a.m. Whitefish will also play Ronan at 4 p.m. that day. Both will be in Polson.
