Third (west side) across from the Humbird store when fire nearly consumed the rear of the two-story building, damaging two cars and ruining furniture in the apartment above. Although the apartment was unoccupied for some time, neighbors say that in the last month, parties have surreptitiously entered and staged late night entertainments. It is thought the fire may have had its origin in one of these events.
