Margaret Jean 'Maggie' Tredway, 80

Margaret Jean “Maggie” Tredway, 80, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. She was born to the late Crawford Stephenson and Hazel Richards on July 5, 1940, in Stanberry, Mo. She grew up with two brothers and a sister.
Margarete graduated from the Trent Business College in 1989. She worked as a barber on Sherman Avenue next to Hudson's Hamburgers during the 1980s, before taking a position at Boeing in Spokane, where she worked until her retirement. While at Boeing she fabricated interior panels for many of Boeing's commercial aircraft.
Margaret was a passionate gardener and animal lover. She loved her dogs and could always be found with one of her bulldogs by her side. She was an avid reader, and later in life she wrote children's’ books that she hoped would one day be enjoyed by her great-grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by Robert Tredway, her husband of 57 years. She and Robert had two children, Brian Tredway and Tracy Bloem. Tracy currently lives in the Netherlands and Margaret was able to visit Tracy, her husband, Alko, and their son, Chris. The time she spent traveling in Europe was one of the highlights of her life.
Margaret will be missed.
