WHITEFISH — The Whitefish Bulldogs swept through their girls’ Kat-Dog dual Tuesday, winning 7-0 over Columbia Falls.

One highlight was Whitefish standout Gracie Smyley’s 6-2, 6-1 win over Hannah Schweikert. Bulldogs’ coach Pat Dryden noted that the match, which pitted the 2019 State A singles champ (Smyley) against the 2019 third-place finisher (Schweikert) was closer than the score indicated.

In doubles, Whitefish’s Ali Hirsch and Tallory Workman needed a third set to get past the Wildkat duo of Grace Gedlaman and Lillian McDonald.

Whitefish’s boys swept the Wildcats 7-0, with a No. 1 singles win by Jayce Cripe and a No. 1 doubles win by Joe Brandt and Aaron Dicks.
