The Moses Lake Police Department is joining departments nationwide in hosting National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign meant to promote partnership with the police.
The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCosh Park, 401 W. Fourth Ave.
Activities were canceled last year due to the pandemic, but they’re back this year in full, with free food, snow cones, fingerprinting and bike registration. Public safety and health organizations will provide information on crime prevention, traffic and child safety.
Event-goers will also have a chance to drop Moses Lake Police Chief Keven Fuhr and Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones in a dunk tank.
For more information, call the Moses Lake Police Department at 509-764-3887.
