7B Baggers hosted their last tournament of the season on July 9-10 at the War Memorial Field. With a rolling air mail pot, their July Raffle for A Cause concluded with $1,112, adding in direct donations and a portion from their regional tournament, the Baggers donated over $4,000 to CASA and the child victims of Bonner County.

ACL Pro Ryan Huffey is sponsored by #TeamUltra which gave six sets of bags during the month of July. CASA officials also thanked Mike Pryor for spearheading the donation that drew $1,720 from Facebook raffles.

The 7B group has also donated $1,000 to the Bonner County Food Bank and $1,500 to a family in need.

“We plan on hosting 4-5 fundraising tournaments per season, leaving some money to rent venues and replace boards,” said Owen Rust. “We are always looking for sponsors and anyone can send inquiries to sandpointcornhole@gmail.com.”

The group holds tournaments every Tuesday at MickDuff’s and will be hosting a kids camp at Hickory Street Park in early August.

“This is a sport for any age from toddlers to senior citizens,” said Justin Doty.

There are three skill levels: intermediate, competitive and advanced (Pro). About 256 players across the nation make up the pro circuit at the beginning of every season, the youngest current pro is 10 years old. Spectators of all ages are always welcome at every tournament.
