Following a COVID-19 exposure, the Kootenai County Coeur d’Alene Vehicle Licensing Office is closed until Tuesday.

Vehicle licensing customers with Coeur d’Alene appointments will be served by the Post Falls Office, a county release said Friday. Staff ask customers to arrive on time as employees attempt to serve constituents as close to their appointment time as possible.

“We regret that we are unable to serve any same day walk-in customers at this time,” the county website states. “Mask use by customers is not required but is greatly appreciated!”

Regular service at the Coeur d’Alene location and reinstatement of same day walk-in services are expected to resume Tuesday, the release said. The closure does not affect driver's license customers.
