A host of school related events begin this week and next.

Volunteers are needed with the annual Columbia Falls Booster Club “Paint the Paws.” Folks should come to the high school about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17 to volunteer with painting from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be free pizza and drinks. Meet in the west parking lot and then help paint the paws along the streets leading to school.

The Booster Club blue and white barbecue is Aug. 19 at the high school from 5 to 7 p.m. at the west parking lot. A hamburger or hot dog with chips and drink is $6 and coaches will be on hand to introduce the fall athletes.

On Thursday of this week (Aug. 12) the school will have its parent-athlete information meeting in the Little Theater at 6 p.m. Coaches will outline protocols for parents and athletes for the upcoming fall sports season.
