Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley will be accepting applications for homeownership for an existing townhome in Columbia Falls, an affordable 0% interest, 30-year mortgage will be provided.

For more information, to discover if you may qualify, and to apply, go to www.habitatflathead.org, email [email protected], call 406-257-8800 or stop by the Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley’s Affiliate office – 2535 HWY 93 South, Kalispell (2nd Floor above the ReStore).

Sometimes, “life simply happens” with one of our partner families, and their Habitat for Humanity home no longer fits their basic needs. In such cases, Habitat purchases the home back, searches for a qualified family for the home – one that fits with the house size criteria, and then works to renovate the home in partnership with the family and other volunteers, the agency said in a release.

The result, Habitat will keep crucial affordable housing available for the Columbia Falls community, it said.

“The need, the stories, the reality of the hope Habitat offers a family, the transformed lives - we must do more than ever before across the Flathead Valley to provide safe, affordable housing,” Bob Helder, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of the Flathead Valley said.
