COEUR d'ALENE — Scott Voyles of Post Falls won the Olympic division of the Coeur d'Alene Triathlon on Saturday at City Park.
Voyles, the top local finisher at Ironman Coeur d'Alene in June, finished in 2 hours, 12 minutes, 5 seconds, nearly 7 minutes ahead of Kenneth Collins of Spokane, who finished in 2:19:03.
Michael Cooper of Coeur d'Alene was third in 2:20:37.
Anna Rogahn of Butte, Mont., was fourth overall and the first female finisher, in 2:21:11.
Chris Dohrman of Plummer, the Lakeside High football and girls basketball coach, was fifth overall in 2:21:26.
An Olympic-length triathlon consists of a 1,500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer (roughly 25-mile) bike leg and a 10k (roughly 6.2-mile) run.
Shannon Horn of Post Falls won the Sprint division of the Coeur d'Alene Triathlon, finishing in 1:08:08.
Luke Greensides of Post Falls was second in 1:16:25.
Krista Lapan of Coeur d'Alene was the top female finisher, fifth overall, in 1:19:53.
A sprint triathlon consists of a half-mile swim, a 12.4-mile (20k) bike leg and a 3.1-mile (5k) run.
