Three people were injured Tuesday night in a collision at Reynolds Road and state Route 26 near Othello.

Jonathan Garcia Gamino, 21, of Othello, was driving a black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe just before 10 p.m. and failed to stop at the stop sign at state Route 26, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Heidi L. Kesler, 37, of Elma, was driving a blue 2002 Ford Explorer east on state Route 26 and struck the Tahoe.

Garcia Gamino, who was not wearing a seat belt, and Kesler, who was, were taken to Othello Community Hospital for their injuries. A 17-year-old girl was flown to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for her injuries. Her name was redacted because she was a juvenile and no information was given on whether she wore a seat belt.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Garcia Gamino was cited with failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield right-of-way.
