Two men died and another may face vehicular homicide charges due to a collision Wednesday afternoon at Adams Road and state Route 283, northeast of George.
Christopher J. Crisostomo, 37, of Fall City, was driving a white 2016 Hino 258/268 truck about 3:30 p.m. north on Adams Road approaching state Route 283 and didn’t stop at the stop sign, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Rigoberto Marmolejo Garcia, 31, of Royal City, was driving a white 2005 Chevrolet Silverado south on state Route 283 and was struck by the Hino on the driver’s side. Both vehicles stopped off the southwest corner of the intersection.
Marmolejo Garcia and his passenger, a 52-year-old Moses Lake man, died at the scene. The latter’s name wasn’t provided by press time, as next of kin needed to be notified.
Crisostomo was not injured and could face two counts of vehicular homicide, as troopers may file charges with the prosecutor’s office.
All three wore seat belts, and both vehicles had reportable damage.
