The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District recently announced the 2021 irrigation season will end Oct. 21.

The last day to order water delivery changes will be Oct. 19. The last changes will be made on Oct. 20. On Oct. 21, ditchriders will close farm unit and water services contract turnouts as they begin to drain the canal system, according to a press release.

Full Saturday service will continue through Sept. 4; after that, ditchriders will be available Monday through Friday.

The Moses Lake and Othello watermaster offices will close on weekends beginning Sept. 11.
