PRIEST RIVER — Priest River boys basketball faced little resistance en route to the title at the Spartan Christmas Tournament this past weekend.
The Spartans routed Clark Fork 59-20 in their opening game Friday and flew past Genesis Prep in the championship Saturday 50-29.
Priest River led 32-11 at the half in the game against the Jaguars.
Across the two contests, Trentyn Kreager scored 29 points, Blake Barrett 24, Travis Mathews 20 and Luke Butler 10.
The Spartans will play in the Parma Holiday Tournament Dec. 28-30. Priest River opens the tourney at 8 a.m. PST next Tuesday against host Parma.
