Commission seeks fair board volunteer

The Grant County Commission announced Thursday it was looking for a volunteer to serve as a regular member on the Fair Advisory Committee to help prepare for and oversee the annual Grant County Fair.
According to a press release from the Grant County Commissioners Office, it is especially interested in volunteers from the Quincy, Royal City or Mattawa areas.
The position is unpaid and for a three-year term, and the person appointed is eligible to serve a maximum of two terms.

Moses Lake SD business manager candidate forum tonight
MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake School District patrons are being invited to talk to – and give their opinions about – finalists for the job of MLSD business manager tonight at 4 p.m. at the district’s transportation office, 940 E.
