An early morning break-in at Ponderosa Arms on Highway 135 in St. Regis is under investigation by the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
Tia Sullivan, manager of Ponderosa Arms, said the burglary took place between closing on Monday, Jan. 25, and the next morning when she opened up for business.
Sheriff's Deputy Funke responded to the initial call and found that the locks on the back door had been cut. Sheriff Mike Toth reported several firearms were taken, and ATF was notified.
“There are a lot of good people out there and if anyone saw anything, we would sure appreciate a call to the Sheriff”, said Sullivan. Toth is asking for anyone who has any information to please come forward and contact the Sheriff’s Office at 406-822-3555.
