MOSCOW — A limited number of tickets will be made available for the upcoming Idaho Football games against Eastern Washington (Feb. 27, 3 p.m.), UC Davis (March 6, noon) and Southern Utah (March 27, noon), the Vandals announced.

Joe St. Pierre, Director of Athletic Communication at the University of Idaho, said attendance would be limited to "approximately 20 percent" of capacity at the Kibbie Dome, which has a listed capacity of 16,000.

Season tickets for the original fall 2020 schedule, as well as RV parking permits and Vandal Scholarship Fund (VSF) parking passes, will automatically be transferred to the upcoming Fall 2021 season. Contact the Idaho Ticket Office at 208-885-6466 with any questions.

A limited number of tickets will be made available and will be rolled out beginning Tuesday at 9 a.m. Those who purchased season tickets for the previously scheduled 2020 season will have priority access, based on VSF standing. Individuals with priority access will be receiving an email from the Idaho Ticket Office with purchasing details.

Ticket sales will be open to the public following the priority access period, on Monday, Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. Stadium tickets will be sold in sets of four for $32 per ticket. Individuals are allowed to purchase up to eight tickets per game, in two separate groups of four. All seats will be reserved. Should fans wish to purchase a number of tickets other than four but fewer than eight, reach out to the Idaho Ticket Office.

Student tickets will also be available in limited numbers. For the first time, student tickets will be reserved, with assigned seats for each individual. Information on student tickets will be communicated through the Office of the Dean of Students.

All fans in attendance will be required to wear a face covering at all times, social distance from other patrons and enter through a walk-through thermal scanner. Seating will be reserved throughout the Kibbie Dome with appropriate distancing between groups. The clear bag policy will be enforced at all entrances. More information on Idaho’s clear bag policy can be found here. Re-entry will not be allowed.

The University of Idaho will not be hosting or promoting any pregame or postgame activities in-person. Additionally, RV parking will not be permitted on university property prior to, during or after games. Individuals are asked to enter the facility upon arrival to limit social gatherings in the parking lot. Alcohol will not be permitted in the parking lot. Complimentary parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will open two hours prior to kickoff. Doors open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. ADA parking will be available in its regular location with proper credentials.

Information on concessions will be released as it becomes available.

The Office of Alumni Relations will be hosting a digital tailgate prior to each game this season, home and away, with more information to come.

Access to the Dome floor will be strictly prohibited at all times.

Due to facility limitations, fan attendance will not be allowed in Memorial Gym for athletic competitions this academic year. Information regarding Vandal soccer will be released at a later date.

Indians sign 10-year agreement to partner with Rockies for High-A ball

SPOKANE — The Spokane Indians officially announced they have accepted a Professional Development League (PDL) license with Major League Baseball to be the Colorado Rockies' High-A affiliate. The 10-year agreement secures Spokane as a Rockies affiliate through the 2030 season.

"We are ecstatic to officially partner with the Colorado Rockies organization and bring long season baseball back to the Inland Northwest," said Otto Klein, Senior Vice President of the Spokane Indians Baseball Club. "Our priority remains providing affordable family entertainment and high-quality baseball for fans in our region. We look forward to the next decade as partners with the Rockies. "

"The Colorado Rockies organization is thrilled to call Spokane home for our High-A Minor League club," said Zach Wilson, Colorado Rockies Assistant General Manager for Player Development and Farm Director. "We are excited to bring talented players and tremendous baseball to the region as well as positively impacting the community."

A schedule for the 2021 season is still being developed by Major League Baseball, and is expected to be announced in the near future.

Under this new Professional Development League, High-A teams are projected to play 132 games, meaning 66 home games at Avista Stadium.

The Indians played slightly more than half that many games as members of the short-season Class A Northwest League since the 1983 season.

Spokane will be in what is now called the High-A West League, joining five of the seven other teams formerly in the Northwest League — the Eugene Emeralds (San Francisco Giants), Everett AquaSox (Seattle Mariners), Hillsboro Hops (Arizona Diamondbacks), Tri-City Dust Devils (Los Angeles Angels) and Vancouver Canadians (Toronto Blue Jays).

Ticket options will be announced soon, the Indians said.
