Kalispell Public Schools has finalized the 2021-22 school calendar.

The school calendar reflects a typical school year, discontinuing early dismissals every Wednesday, which were implemented last November due to increased staff workloads related to the coronavirus pandemic. Kalispell Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Callie Langohr said continuing early-out Wednesdays would be a separate discussion the school board may decide to take up at a later date.

Early dismissals are built into the school year, as is the case each school year, for professional development.

The first day of school will be Sept. 1 and the last day will be June 10.

There will be no school Nov. 24 through Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving break.

Winter break will be Dec. 23 through Jan. 3.

Spring break is set for March 21-25.
