Luella May Green passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. Where she was known, she was loved for her kindness and caring.

Luella was born Oct. 16, 1930, in Ponca City, Okla.

She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and wanted to see family and friends, and everyone in Heaven.

Luella worked in the 40-bed nursery at White Memorial Adventist Hospital in Los Angeles, and in physical therapy, respiratory therapy and EKGs, in Pryor, Okla.

She also worked in nursing homes in Bellingham, Wash., and Kalispell, Mont.

She is survived by only-child, Debra Gait of Burns Lake, BC, Canada; granddaughter, Stephanie Waggoner; and grandsons Zachary Gait and Clint Gait. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Kenneth, Samantha, Emma, Tonya and Natasha, and five great-great-grandchildren.

I want to give a special thank you to Tonya Lohstroh and Natasha McLaughlin for their devoted attendance to my mother during her passing. I also have a big thank you to all the staff at Life Care Center of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Luella really loved her time there and thought everyone was so caring.

Thank you also to the Neptune Society for their assistance with arrangements.
