Sean Ryan Burns
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 5 years, 8 months AGO
Sean Ryan Burns left this Earth on Dec. 24, 2020, and joined his mother, Barbara, for his next big adventure. He died of cancer, surrounded by family at his childhood home in Kidd Island Bay.
Raised in Coeur d’Alene, he grew up on the lake and treasured the memories created there, especially the shenanigans at their family camp, Dis-il-do.
As Sean has often quoted, “Not all who wander are lost.”
He was well traveled, a student of life, collecting best friends everywhere he went. He had a gift to see hidden beauty all around and shared it through his art. He was a talented curator, photographer, lover of good wine, and a damn good server! Known for his infectious laugh and spirit, he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Sean Ryan is survived by his father, Jim Burns; sisters Laurie Page, Shannon Rozett and Colleen Hodgson; and brother, Rob Burns. He adored his nieces and nephews, and his large extended family was priceless to him. Friends and family only wish we could have had one more day with this wonderful dreamer of dreams.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be announced on his personal Facebook page.
English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Memories and condolences may be shared on Sean's online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
