City offers free Christmas tree disposal

SANDPOINT — The city of Sandpoint is announcing its free Christmas tree disposal program available to residents throughout the month of January.

Those who live within city limits can drop their Christmas trees off anytime this month in the lot behind the City Shop on Airport Way. The site can be accessed by turningTurn into the second driveway on the south side of Airport Way and, after entering the driveway, look for a sign to the left indicating where to leave your tree.
