Carey Lee Walentiny, 53, of Veradale, Wash., passed away on Jan. 21, 2021, with her mother and sister by her side after battling sepsis. She was born Dec. 2, 1967, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
She was the love of our lives and her beautiful smile always lit up the room and uplifted anyone around her. Our hearts are broken and she will be missed more than words could ever say. You will always be our sunshine.
Carey is survived by her mother, Patricia Walentiny, of Hayden, Idaho; sister, Sherry Walentiny of Hayden; father, Vernon Walentiny, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and numerous family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene.
