MOSES LAKE — No one was injured in a fire Saturday night at Moses Lake Liquor & Wine, officials said.

Moses Lake police and fire personnel responded to the blaze just before 11 p.m. at 1180 N. Stratford Road.

The call came in as a burglar alarm, so law enforcement was dispatched first, said Moses Lake Fire Department Capt. Brandon Burns.

Responders found smoke swelling from windows and flames coming out of the rear of the structure.

Firefighters contained the fire to the building, Burns said, and remained at the scene for about four and a half hours.

“There’s extensive damage to the interior of the building,” Burns said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Moses Lake fire and police departments.
