SANDPOINT — Are you looking to let a little love into your life in the form of a new four-legged family member?

Better Together Animal Alliance (formerly Panhandle Animal Shelter) can help.

Today through Sunday, the alliance is teaming up with Best Friends Animal Society to take part in the national adoption event, Let Love In. The adoption event brings together animal welfare organizations across the country by connecting adoptable animals with their future families.

Locally, to make that happen, families can log onto bettertogetheranimalalliance.org/adopt to "meet" adoptable pets and hopefully make a match. As part of this event, the alliance is waiving adoption fees for adult cats (age 6 months and older) and adult dogs (age 1 year and older).

In addition, BTAA is teaming up with Petco for an adoption event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The adoption event is a chance to meet some of the alliance's current adoptable animals and stock up on all their necessities before bringing them home.
