Loggers bounce back at Rasmussen tourney

FLORENCE — Tripp Zhang was 2-for-2 at the plate with a triple and two RBI and Landon Haddock added three RBI as the Libby Loggers downed the Bitterroot Bucs 8-4 Sunday morning at the Rasmussen Memorial Legion tournament in Florence.

The win secured fifth place for the Loggers, who finished 2-3 at the tournament.

Libby scored three runs in the first inning and never trailed in the contest.
