Free concert tonight at Conservatory

Friday Night Live is back at 7 tonight at the Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene, with the sounds of pianist Matt Goodrich performing a free concert.

The Music Conservatory recently announced Goodrich as its new assistant artistic director, working in tandem with artistic director Jan Pellant of the Coeur d'Alene Symphony.

“I am honored and fortunate to be a part of the inaugural faculty of the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene," Goodrich said. "The community has welcomed me with open arms, and I am excited to work with everyone to build a lasting institution for the community that provides rigorous, innovative musical training while contributing to the exciting evolution of the culture of culture in North Idaho.”

Goodrich brings experience and energy to the Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene. A graduate of Oberlin College Conservatory, he earned his doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Washington under the direction of Robin McCabe.

He holds a faculty positions at the Music Conservatories of Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene.
