MOYIE SPRINGS — Old West Texas BBQ at The Hemlocks RV & Lodging in Moyie Springs will be hosting a live performance of Scott Helmer on Friday, July 16, at 7 p.m., as part of his Campfire Songs US Tour 2021.

The concert is open to the public, and admission is free; all ages are welcomed. The performance is part of a larger tour consisting of solo acoustic performances at live music venues, RV parks and campgrounds, wineries, fundraisers and more across the United States, with the Moyie Springs show marking the kick-off of the tour.

Helmer has opened for and toured with artists like Heart, Eddie Money, 3 Doors Down, Jeff Bridges, Big Country, Eric Burdon & The Animals, and marks 10 years of entertaining America with over 1,000 shows.

Additionally, Helmer in 2016 became a Guinness record holder for most live performances in 24 hours in multiple cities. A total of 12 performances in multiple cities was recorded for Helmer.

Old West Texas BBQ at Hemlocks brings the Lone Star State’s signature food to Boundary County. The restaurant is operated by Johnney Walker, a food entrepreneur from Baytown, Texas.

Walker uses mesquite imported from outside of San Antonio in a town called Seguin, Texas. The shipment comes once a month that allows Walker to smoke 500 pounds of meat overnight.

The meat is smoked and locally sourced from local ranches but features prime beef steaks dry-aged from the Midwest.

You can find the restaurant next to Hemlocks RV lodging at 73400 Highway 2, Moyie Springs, ID 83845
