BONNERS FERRY — Second Harvest Inland Empire will be bringing their food distribution truck to Bonners Ferry on Friday, Aug. 6.

The truck will be at the Boundary County Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All people who desire assistance with food are welcome— there are no eligibility requirements. This drive-through event will again be at the fairgrounds, with cars entering from the east entrance.

The June event had 245 families receive over 14,400 pounds of food. This month Trinity Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial are sponsoring the truck. Second Harvest also provides grants to help pay for the truck.
