TIGERS TAKE GAME FROM BONNERS FERRY
The Humbird Tigers beat Bonners Ferry Sunday in one of the fastest and hardest fought games ever seen on a local diamond. The final score was 5 to 4 but so evenly matched were the teams that the outcome was in doubt right up to the final play. The visitors arrived on the G.N., not reaching Humbird field until after 3:00. The city band played for the hour between the scheduled 2:30 start and the actual beginning of hostilities at 3:30. Grandstands and bleachers were packed for the game, with a crowd of about 600 overflowing along the sidelines.
