Prep roundup: Moses Lake boys take dual over Davis

Boys wrestling

Moses Lake 45, Davis 18

Brock Clark (195), Everett Ashley (220), Saul Villa (285), Jose Tanguma (126), Dayton Raegen (132), Derek Grubb (138), Camron Regan (152), Cruz Vasquez (170) and Maximus Zamora (182) all won Wednesday.

Quincy Mix-n-match meet

For Quincy, Isaac Delgado (126), Israel Perez (132), Brody Wallace (152) and David Medina (285) finished 2-1 Tuesday. Christian Avila (195) finished 3-1.

Warden’s Angel Cruz (126), Roll Martinez (132) and Cason Cox (132) all racked up wins against the host squad. Kelvin Sager (152), Hudson Sager (152) and Lopez Everado (285) nabbed victories for Ephrata.

Yahir Morales (132), Jared Lee (138) and Benji Bustos (195) were winners for Royal. Dominic Martinez (138), Bustos and Seth Yorgensen all remain undefeated this season.

Boys basketball

Ephrata 62, Quincy 51

Ethan Black led the Ephrata Tigers with 17 points including five three’s. Kyle Hendrick finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Royal 85, Wahluke 58

Caleb Christensen finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and nine assists Tuesday. Avery Ellis chipped in 14 points and five rebounds while Derek Bergeson finished with 15 points and five boards.

Girls basketball

Moses Lake 71, West Valley 26

Anna Olson finished with 16 points and four assists Tuesday. Meagan Karstetter finished with 12 points and five steals. Sydney Macdonald and Marissa Bischoff both finished with seven points.

Ephrata 61, Quincy 31

Julie Davis finished with 17 points, four steals and four rebounds for Ephrata Tuesday. Freshman Addison Mills added 15 points and nine boards. Emily Wurl led Quincy with 12 points.

Othello 38, Shadle Park 41

Annalee Coronado finished with 23 points, five rebounds and four Tuesday. Ashley Perez added in seven points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.
