Prep roundup: Ephrata coach Brandon Evenson nets 250th win

Boys basketball

Ephrata 68, Royal 53

Ephrata head coach Brandon Evenson picked up his 250th win with the Tigers, beating previously undefeated Royal High School. Ephrata’s Kyle Hendrick finished with 19 points, while Gavin Burns added 15. Ethan Black made 10 assists.

For Royal, Caleb Christensen finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Luke Bergeson made 12.

Moses Lake 47, Wenatchee 61

Marshall Tibbs finished with 17 points and eight rebounds Tuesday against Wenatchee High School. Joel Middleton added nine points, two rebounds and a steals.

Othello 44, Clarkston 67

Jorge Buenrostro led Othello with 18 points. Julian Alegria added eight points, while Jaden Flores, Rodrigo Garza and Sonny Asu each finished with six.

Quincy 54, Cashmere 58

TreyVaughn Bierlink made six three-pointers and 28 points Monday night. Aidan Heikes and Aidan Bews both finished with 11 points.

Anna Olson finished with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Olivia Waites finished with 10 points and six rebounds while Meagan Karstetter added 10 points, two steals and two blocks.

Ephrata 51, Royal 37

Julie Davis led the Ephrata Tigers with 12 points against Royal earlier this week. Hayden Mills added 11 points and eight rebounds while Addison Mills finished with six points and 14 boards. Senior Chenoa Louie led Royal with 20 points.

Othello 25, Clarkston 76

Jeweliana Pruneda finished with 11 points and five rebounds. Maciah Tovar added eight points, five rebounds and two steals. Annalee Coronado finished with four points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal.
