MOSCOW — Northern Lakes managed just one hit and issued 11 walks in a 20-0 loss to Moscow in a class A North Idaho League Legion baseball game Sunday.

In the first game, Louis Powell singled with one out in the third inning for Northern Lakes’s lone hit. Hayden Thompson struck out eight and walked three in a five-inning one-hitter for Moscow (7-2, 3-1).
“A lot of self-inflicted wounds,” Northern Lakes coach Bryce Johnson said of the first game. “We just gave up too many free bases.”
In the second game, Louis Powell went 2 for 2 with two doubles, two RBIs and three runs scored for Northern Lakes. Tristan Clift was 2 for 5 with two RBIs and a run scored.
