Montana All-Stars complete another sweep of Wyoming

BILLINGS — Billings Skyview product Ky Kouba led five Montana players in double figures with 23 points, and the Montana All-Stars completed another sweep of Wyoming with a 110-71 win Saturday at the Lockwood High gym.
After a narrow 109-104 win Friday in Sheridan, Wyoming, Montana bolted to leads of 21-3, 31-9 and, at halftime, 58-27 Saturday.
Missoula Sentinel products Alex Germer and Tony Frohlich-Fair chipped in 19 and 18 points; Malachi Stewart of Billings Central added 19 and Great Falls’ Levi Torgerson scored 10.
Montana hit 17 3-pointers to Wyoming’s six, and won its 18th straight game in this series. The Treasure State leads 63-27 overall.
Bryan St. Clair of Lander Valley led Wyoming with 16 points, nine in the fourth quarter. Likewise Worland’s Rudy Sanford scored 11 of his 13 in the fourth quarter. Sheridan’s Sam Lecholat, like Germer a Montana State signee, had seven points.
