LEWISTON — Cooper Larson tripled to score Marcus Manzardo with the go-ahead run with two outs in the 10th inning, then scored his fifth run of the night on a Joe DuCoeur double as the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen held off the Lewis-Clark Twins 12-10 at Harris Field on Tuesday night.
Austin Taylor finished with three RBIs, including a two-run double in the ninth inning for Coeur d’Alene (9-4), which finished with 18 hits. Larson and DuCoeur finished with four hits each for
Coeur d’Alene, which swept Lewis-Clark 5-4 and 15-4 on June 8 at Thorco Field in Coeur d’Alene.
Coeur d’Alene is scheduled to play the Shadle Shockers on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Shadle Park High in Spokane.
Jack Johnson and Thomas Reynolds had three RBIs each for Lewis-Clark (0-8).
