The Bonner County Treasurer’s office would like to remind taxpayers that the second half 2020 property tax payment deadline is June 20.

Because June 20 falls on a Sunday this year, county officials reminder residents that property taxes must be postmarked or paid by June 21.

“It is very important that the envelope is postmarked by the 21st to avoid late charges and interest,” Cheryl Piehl, county treasurer, said. "In some rural areas, you may need to take your envelope into the post office.”

Also, there are options to pay taxes online with a credit card or eCheck. Those interested in those payment methods, can go online to the county treasurer’s website at www.bonnercountyid.gov/treasurer. (Please note there is a fee of 2.5 percent fee to use a credit card and $1 fee for an eCheck).

For more information or if you have any questions regarding your property taxes, please contact the Bonner County Treasurer’s Office at 208-265-1433.
