Roy Lee Soltau, 73

Roy Lee Soltau went home to be with Jesus on June 13, 2021. Roy was born on Oct. 29, 1948, in Berkeley, Calif., and was a resident of Walnut Creek. He moved to Lake Tahoe where he met his wife, Cheryl. Roy then relocated with his family to Loffs Bay area near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1981.

He was a builder and constructed numerous custom homes in the lake area.

Roy enjoyed hunting and golfing. He also spent many hours boating and fishing on Lake Coeur d’Alene, where he earned the nickname “Kingfish” among his many friends.

Roy attended the Worley Community Church and was a devoted husband to his wife Cheryl and his son Wesley and daughter Katey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Worley Community Church in Worley, Idaho.
