Little Pine Fire uncontained as of Wednesday

The Little Pine Fire, which is burning seven miles north of Priest River in Pine Creek and one mile south of Blue Lake remained 0% contained as of Wednesday evening, though the 321-acre fire had limited growth, according to a press release by the Idaho Department of Lands.

The fire, which was reported Tuesday around 3 p.m., remains within the Idaho Endowment timberland boundaries, according to the release. No structures are currently threatened, and evacuation orders or road closures have been made, though smoke from the fire can be seen from Priest River.

As of 7 p.m. Wednesday there were 120 personnel assigned to the fire, according to the release. An incident management team were scheduled to take over Thursday morning.
