Montana Highway Patrol officers responded to two crashes in south Lincoln County during the afternoon hours of June 21.

Sgt. Neil Duram said one wreck occurred a couple miles east of Kootenai Falls on U.S. Highway 2. A driver heading east made a left turn into a pullout and collided with another driver, who was attempting to pass her.

A few miles west of Troy, a UPS truck similarly collided with another vehicle when making a left turn.

Both wrecks resulted in minor injuries. Duram said each accident only involved two cars.
