Thomas Foutz

Thomas Foutz of Athol, Idaho passed away June 15, 2021, after a battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

We suspect he chose to leave us on “Fly a Kite Day” to send a message.

He leaves behind a dysfunctional family that he is proud of; his mother Sharon Moore; his much older sister Lisa; and sister Shannon.

As Tom was a professional uncle (no children), he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews of mediocre upbringing, and additional loved ones.

He loved his family more than anything in the world, with the exception of trading in a car, his or not. He loved to fix things…especially cars.

Thomas served a short stint in the U.S. Navy in his younger days. He will be remembered for going where he wanted to go, loving who he wanted to love, and his gift of gab.

Cremation and memorial will take place at the convenience of the family, with ashes kept as long as they match decor.

He is, and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations in memory of Thomas be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House, in Vancouver, Wash.
