He married Lorna Ross on December 30, 1972 and had two children, Scott and Kris. He had five grandchildren: Cam, Luke, Anya, Savanah, Brayden, and his dog, Bailey.
Bill graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1964 and went on to earn a Business Degree from Eastern Washington University.
Bill served in the Air Force and was so proud to serve his country.
He loved the Mariners, the Zags, the Seahawks and watching his kids and grandkids play sports.
He will be most remembered for his big smile, his kind heart, his wonderful laugh and his ability to make friends and talk to anyone he passed by, especially other veterans.
Bill passed away on Father’s Day, June 20, 2021 in the presence of his family and with a caring staff at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. Bill is survived by his sister, Shirley Clause.
A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Elks Lodge, 1170 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815.
