An old Cenex building and several vehicles were destroyed Saturday night by fire in Royal Camp.

Royal Slope firefighters were called just before 9 p.m. to the area, about eight miles east of Royal City, according to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office social media post. Firefighters launched a defensive attack, fighting the fire from outside only, as the structure was fully involved. It took about an hour to control the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The building and vehicles were a total loss.

There were no injuries.
