Arrogance of mask wearers is incomprehensible
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 3 years, 10 months AGO
The arrogance of you mask wearers who spew your words of judgment and condemnation at those who do not wear masks is incomprehensible. You claim you wear your mask for the greater good; to protect your community because you care about your fellow human beings and you have compassion.
And yet you assume. You assume you know everything about that person; that stranger you see with no mask. You assume that stranger is some "rebel" who cares nothing for others or their community. You assume that everything you read or hear in the media is the only truth; about mask wearing; about covid; about anything. Now we are ordered to wear two masks! You know nothing about these strangers and yet you trash talk them and harass them as if you have the right to do so.
Here are the people you assume you know so you can feel justified in your condemnation. The child or adult who suffers from asthma and cannot have their airway restricted more than it already is. The child or adult who has suffered physical/emotional/psychological trauma who cannot cope with having their face, head, or body restricted in any way. The child or adult who cannot hear who needs to see whole faces to read lips. The child or adult who needs to see facial expressions in order to interact with others appropriately; those with anxiety, autism or those with sensory issues.
This is the truth … not your truth. Compassion is something you know nothing about. Judge yourselves accordingly.
