Four local businesses are among recipients of Montana’s Growth Through Agriculture program, which will distribute $834,646 in grants and loans to 30 Montana agriculture businesses.
Big Sky Orchards & Hops Farm, in Bigfork, will receive $30,208 for a walk-in freezer; Farmented Foods in Kalispell will receive $11,908 to convert a commercial space into a specialized fermentation kitchen; Green Ridge Biosolutions US Inc. in Ronan will receive $50,000 for new machinery; and M&S Meats in Rollins will receive $23,492 for new equipment at its Kalispell location.
Craig Jenneskens, of Bigfork, has been named president and chairman of the board at Robert Peccia & Associates engineering firm. Jenneskens has served 27 years with RPA, including the vice president of business management position since 2017.
Ryan Mitchell, of Kalispell, has been selected to fill Jenneskens’ role as vice president of business management at RPA. Mitchell helped RPA open its Kalispell office in 2005.
